Purchase Terms and Conditions

Bobbys Hair & Cosmetics AS recommends that you familiarize yourself with the purchase terms and conditions, as they describe both your rights and obligations.


  1. General
    These terms and conditions apply to all sales through www.bobbys.com (hereafter referred to as Bobbys.com) to private consumers. Separate terms apply to business purchases.
  2. Definition of Parties

    Buyer is: the person specified as the buyer in the order and is referred to as “you,” “your,” or “yours” hereinafter.
  3.  Ordering and Agreement Process
    Your order is binding when it is registered on our server (computer). Bobbys.com is also bound by your order if it does not deviate from what is offered by us on our website, in our marketing, or otherwise. However, you have the right to cancel the purchase in accordance with the right of withdrawal law, as further detailed in section 12.
  4. Information Provided in the Online Store
    We strive to provide our customers with as accurate information about our products as possible. However, we reserve the right for typographical or printing errors, which may result in us not being able to deliver according to the information provided on our website, in our marketing, or otherwise. Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel your order or a part of it if the product is out of stock. In situations where the product(s) is out of stock, you will be notified, along with information about what we can offer instead. You will have the opportunity to accept our new offer with the changes we specify in relation to your order or to cancel the order.
  5. Prices
    All prices include value-added tax and any environmental fees. The total cost of the purchase will be displayed before ordering and includes all expenses associated with the purchase, such as postage, shipping, packaging, etc. Deliveries to Svalbard, the Norwegian continental shelf, other remote Norwegian land areas, or other European countries are sold without the addition of value-added tax.
  6.  Payment
    Payment is made using our online payment solution. All orders must be paid through Klarna Checkout or Vipps. You can easily pay with MasterCard, Visa, or via Klarna Invoice through this solution. Your card will not be charged until the goods are shipped from our store; the money is only reserved at the time of purchase. There are no fees for using credit cards in our online store. Klarna is responsible for credit card transactions made through this website. Bobbys Hair & Cosmetics does not record any personal information about your transaction, and all information is processed between you and your bank.
  7.  Delivery and Delays
    The delivery of products will take place in the manner, at the place, and at the time specified in the order confirmation. We bear the risk of the products until they are received by you, meaning when you have obtained possession of the products. If the delivery of the products is delayed, we will inform you as soon as we have knowledge of it, along with information about when the delivery can take place or if the product(s) are out of stock. Depending on the nature of the products and the length of the delay, you may, under the circumstances, withhold the purchase amount, demand delivery, request compensation, or cancel the agreement.
  8. Unclaimed Packages
    If you fail to pick up the package at the post office, you will be charged a fee of NOK 350 to cover our expenses, including round-trip shipping costs and our warehouse handling costs. For customers who have prepaid via Klarna, this means that we will credit the remaining amount down to NOK 350. If the purchase amount is lower than NOK 350, the entire amount will be retained to cover the aforementioned costs. For Click & Collect orders, there is a collection deadline of 10 days from when you receive an SMS that your order is ready for pickup. If the package is not collected within the 10-day deadline, an administration fee of NOK 150 will be charged to cover our costs associated with preparing your order.
  9.  Inspection of Products
    After receiving the products, you should, as soon as possible, examine whether the delivery matches the order confirmation, whether the products have been damaged during transport, or whether the products have other defects or deficiencies. We must receive written notice of any defects or deficiencies within three days of receiving the products, by email at order@bobbys.com.
  10. Your Rights for Defects and Deficiencies
    If the products have defects or deficiencies, you can, under the circumstances, demand rectification of the defect, re-delivery, a price reduction, compensation, or the cancellation of the purchase. The defect must be present when you take possession of the products. However, defects discovered within six months after receiving the products are normally considered defects that existed before you received the products. Refer to section 11 for further details. Notifications of defects and deficiencies in the products can be made to us verbally or in writing. This must be done within a reasonable time after you discover the defect or deficiency. However, you always have a minimum of two months for complaints. For evidential purposes, we recommend that the complaint is submitted to us in writing. Bobbys.com will confirm the receipt of all complaints in writing. Bobbys.com will also confirm in writing the receipt of goods sent back to us or to our service workshop for inspection or rectification. The right to make a complaint applies for two years after you took possession of the product or five years if the product is intended to last significantly longer than two years. The right to complain is in addition to the right of withdrawal under section 12.
  11. 11. Warranty
    Our warranties do not limit the complaint period for goods under the consumer purchase law. The complaint period is two years after you took possession of the item, or five years if the item is intended to last significantly longer than two years. The warranty for the purchase of hairpieces and/or extensions only applies if you have followed all advice and guidelines for such products on www.bobbys.com. Refer to section 10 for more details.
  12. 12. Right of Withdrawal
    The right of withdrawal law gives you the right to withdraw your purchase. The right of withdrawal applies to goods and certain services (see exceptions in the last paragraph). To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days from receiving the delivery (withdrawal period). If you have not received a withdrawal form either in the order confirmation or upon delivery of the products, this deadline is extended to three months. Everyone receives a withdrawal form in the order confirmation upon ordering, but you can also download the form here: www.bobbys.com/angreskjema.pdf. To be eligible for the right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to us in the same quantity and condition as you received it. All products should be returned to us within a reasonable time. Any return shipment must be paid by you. You bear the risk of transportation back to us. We are only obligated to refund what you paid for the item, including postage for the shipment to you, handling fees, customs duties, COD fees, etc. This applies only when the entire purchase is returned. Refunds will be made within fourteen days after we receive the
  13. product from you, receive a return receipt, or the product is made available to us. The product should be returned to us, preferably in its original packaging, along with the withdrawal form. Further information on how to exercise the right of withdrawal can be found on the withdrawal form. The right of withdrawal does not apply:
    – To hairpieces or extensions where the seal on the physical product has been broken or it is evident that the item has been used (considered an intimate product).
    – If the customer fails to pick up the package at the post office.
    – For wigs (considered an intimate product).
  14. Personal Information
    Our customers are concerned that Bobbys.com handles personal information in a secure manner. Below, you will find a detailed description of how we handle this information. When you shop with us, we store information such as your name, address, mobile number, and email address, among others. This is information we need to deliver the goods to you through the carrier you choose, as well as to contact you regarding matters related to the order. We are also required to keep this information for accounting, tax handling, and any warranty or return handling purposes, so this history cannot be deleted. For security reasons, we also store the IP address used to place the order. This information is also available on “My Page.” Credit card numbers are not stored by Bobbys.com beyond what is necessary for efficient handling of any billing issues, reservation lifting, and crediting. If you wish to enter into a consumer financing agreement, you must consent to our partner Klarna performing a credit check based on your national ID number. If you do enter into a financing agreement, this information will be stored by them until the loan is concluded. The national ID number is required for reporting to tax authorities. After the loan is concluded, credit information is anonymized and used only for statistics. We also collect and store log data, such as which categories and products you browse or search for, in order to understand our customers’ interests, improve our product selection and offerings. This information is also used to display related products or send related offers (if you have explicitly requested this). The information is also used to generate traffic statistics for capacity planning. We use and require a cookie to register and complete an order. (It is possible to view products without using cookies.) We also attempt to store a permanent cookie used to recognize you when you return. We offer various email lists to receive different types of information and offers. Receiving this information is voluntary, and you must explicitly opt in during registration or on “My Page.” It is also easy to unsubscribe from email lists from the account page (“My Page”). Bobbys.com does not sell personal information to third parties, nor do we exchange or forward such information to third parties. If you have any questions about personal information related to you or wish to exercise your rights to correction, blocking, deletion, etc. under the Personal Data Act, you can contact our customer center at post@bobbys.com. You are also obliged to provide correct information about your name, address, phone number, and email address when ordering from us. If incorrect information leads to an uncollected/returned package to us, the fees mentioned in sections 6 and 8 apply.
  15.  Retention of Title
    We have a retention of title in the delivered products until the purchase price, including interest and costs, has been paid in full.
  16. Disputes
    The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, you can bring the case to the Consumer Council near your place of residence. All disputes shall be resolved under Norwegian law. If the case is brought before the courts, it shall be decided in our (seller’s) jurisdiction, which is typically Oslo.
